Pre Existing Medical 0151 448 9726 Insurance We require that all those on a tour with Vapour Trails Direct are adequately insured to cover for eventualities while abroad. We do not insist that you purchase travel insurance from Vapour Trails Direct, in fact we do not sell travel insurance, just that you and all those on your booking have suitable insurance. We do not sell insurance for the following reasons. 1- There are rules and laws governed by the Financial Service Authority and we wish to sell tours not insurance. 2- Many of our customers have travel insurance that they obtain as part of other financial services, so there is no need to pay twice. 3- We do not wish to perform in depth Medical Screening with our customers, all we need to know is the information we request on our booking forms. As a guide we recommend that a suitable insurance policy have the following insured amounts, Medical Insurance  £        5,000,000 Cancellation Cover £        5,000 Personal liability        £        2,000,000 Missed departure £        1,000 Personnel accident £        20,000 Hospital benefit £        800 Legal protection £        25,000 Travel  delay £        300 Baggage £        2,000 Money £        500 The above is only a guide and individuals must purchase travel insurance to suit their own needs. We realise that insuring for existing medical conditions can be a substantial cost and we can therefore suggest that our customers look at the policies offered by Global Travel Insurance.   If you require additional information regarding insurance please call our office.
